I like the way they describe Golda Meir. I have to be honest I also like the fact it was a woman he picked to send. “It was thanks to a Jewish woman the Jewish state was born” – WOW. Very Cool. Well said.

Rock of Israel this is also very cool.

I am wondering about the “fist name of their family name” thing. What is this? Why is this? Do jewidh people have 2 family names?

Ok. Well I really liked everything they said about the scripture but do not want to get into that right now. I am now thinking this book may prove to be difficult to share with you if I am not able to discuse scripture. I am going to have to pray about it. I know there is a reason I was directed to this book. I know that I will be shown the way. I will be obediante and patient.

I stopped reading at the end of the first chapter. Not so much learning today but that’s ok. Good reading. Good other stuff. Maybe there will be more I can write about tomorrow.

Golda Meir

Golda Meir (Hebrew: גּוֹלְדָּה מֵאִיר‎‎ [ɡolˈda] or [ˈɡolda] [meˈʔiʁ];[1], earlier Golda Meyerson, born Golda Mabovitch; 3 May 1898 – 8 December 1978) was a teacher, kibbutznik and politician who became the fourth Prime Minister of the State of Israel.

Meir was elected Prime Minister of Israel on 17 March 1969,[2] after serving as Minister of Labour and Foreign Minister. Israel's first and the world's third woman to hold such an office, she was described as the "Iron Lady" of Israeli politics years before the epithet became associated with British prime minister Margaret Thatcher.[3] Former prime minister David Ben-Gurion used to call Meir "the best man in the government"; she was often portrayed as the "strong-willed, straight-talking, grey-bunned grandmother of the Jewish people."
